ABOUT ME

I have over 35 years experience in maintained and, predominantly, independent education in day, boarding, single sex, co-ed, tied and standalone schools for children aged 6 months to 18 years, including Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls, Elstree, Loughborough Endowed Schools, and Holmwood House Prep School, Colchester. 
 

With over 15 years senior leadership experience, including 12 as Head and 5 as governor, I have steered schools through good times and bad; always with compassion and understanding; despite some challenging times. 
 

I am passionate about children’s learning at all ages, stages and levels. I can support schools in ensuring that the quality of the strategic systems in place do everything to support pupils’ progress and that this is visible to the community.  
 

As an experienced inspector for 22 years, and a Reporting Inspector for ISI, I am able to support schools in their understanding of the regulatory framework through a thorough approach to compliance as well as the quality of all that they do as a school.
